A short course for new beekeepers will take place on Monday and Tuesday, Feb. 14-15, 2011, at 6:30 p.m. each evening at the Blount County Library.

The event is free and open to the public. Even if you are just interested in bees and beekeeping but not ready to start a hive, you should attend.

This is an annual event sponsored by the Blount County Beekeepers Association.
