Welcome to the web site of the Blount County Beekeepers Association in Maryville, Tennessee.

This site will tell you a little about the association and how to become a member. It will also tell you a little about beekeeping.

Bees are an important part of our environment and particularly our agricultural system. They are also fascinating creatures.

We hope you will be interested enough to join us at some point, even if you're not interested in keeping bees. There are lots of ways you can join in with what we do.

Our December meeting will a simple open discussion / Q&A. Bring your questions regarding beekeeping…..regardless of how long you’ve been in it! October 17, 2021
Our October meeting is coming up quickly (10/11/2021). This meeting is our annual auction and also when we vote for officers. I urge members or even non members to donate items for auction and attend. This is one of our main fundraiser of the year and the funds go towards providing the meeting space as well as grants, educational programs, and other operating expenses for the year. Not to mention it’s a really fun time! September 22, 2021
We will be doing an inspection at the club Apiary Sunday (9/5/2021) @ 2pm. We will be preforming a mite check and treating. Hopefully the weather cooperates this time! September 3, 2021
