BCBA Short Course for Beekeepers

The annual BCBA Short Course for beekeepers is scheduled for Saturday February 22, 2020 from 9AM to 3PM (registration begins at 8:30AM) at 611 Sherwood Dr., Maryville, TN (Maryville Church of Christ).

It’s free and everyone is invited!

The Blount County Beekeepers Association meets on the second Monday of every month, except for September and December, at 6:30 p.m. at the Maryville Church of Christ, 611 Sherwood Drive in Maryville.

All of the meetings are open to the public, and anyone interested in learning more about beekeeping is welcome and encouraged to attend.

June 8 – Luke Newman (Honey Extraction)

July 13 – Michele Colopy (Pollinator Stewardship)

August 10 – Charlie Parton (Pests, Diseases and their Treatment)

September 14 – No meeting (TN Valley Fair)

October 12 – Vote for officers and AUCTION (note this is a month earlier this year)

November 9 – Howard Kerr (Honey Bee Biology)

December 14 – Christmas dinner @ Rothchild’s Banquet Hall 8807 Kingston Pike Knoxville, TN
